Well, it seems that Jeode doesn't install under WM5 and therefore appears not to work- ...there are ways and means to get this working, so read below if you, like me want to ensure you still have a JVM on all things Windows mobile.......
It seems that the installer for Jeode actually install another CAB file in the root of the Phone. Previously this was then executed by the OS, but it seems under WM5 this is not the case. You'll have to manually execute the CAB file yourself from the default file application or any other application you use to install CAB files on the device. The Jeode version in question is 1.7.3 - I can't vouch for other version of Jeode as this is the only version that I have access to.
I have a PPC engineering program from Poliplus which ran on 2002 and 2003
but wont run on windows mobile 5. Please give me any other information on
this problem. You may be the person with the golden thrumb if I can get m
program running on WM5
